Starting today, Amazon Batch is now available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
Amazon Batch enables developers, scientists, and engineers to easily and efficiently run hundreds of thousands of batch computing jobs on Amazon Web Services. Amazon Batch dynamically provisions the optimal quantity and type of compute resources (e.g., CPU, GPU, or memory-optimized instances) based on the volume and specific resource requirements of the batch jobs submitted. With Amazon Batch, there is no need to install and manage batch computing software or server clusters that run your jobs, allowing you to focus on analyzing results and solving problems. Amazon Batch plans, schedules, and executes your batch computing workloads across Amazon Web Services compute services and features, such as Amazon EC2 and EC2 Spot Instances.
In addition, Amazon Batch is currently available in the 18 other Amazon Web Services Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), US East (Ohio), Canada (Central), EU West (Ireland), EU (London), EU (Frankfurt), EU (Paris), EU (Stockholm), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Middle East (Bahrain), South America (São Paulo).
