Starting today, Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager (DLM) for EBS Snapshots is available in the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD and Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet. Amazon DLM provides a simple, automated way to back up data stored on Amazon EBS volumes. With this feature, you no longer have to rely on custom scripts to create and manage your EBS volume backups.
To get started, tag your EBS volumes and start creating lifecycle policies via Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager. You can create the policies in the AAmazon Web Services Management Console, from the Amazon Command Line Interface (CLI) or via the Data Lifecycle Manager APIs.
