Amazon Redshift Spectrum is now available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet
Redshift Spectrum is a feature of Amazon Redshift that extends analytics to data stored in your Amazon S3 data lake, without requiring you to load or transform data. Redshift Spectrum supports open data formats, such as Parquet, ORC, JSON, and CSV. Redshift Spectrum also supports querying nested data with complex data types such as struct, array, or map. You can query data across Redshift and Amazon S3 to gain unique insights that are not possible to obtain by querying independent datasets. To learn more, visit the Redshift Spectrum documentation.
With the latest release, Amazon Redshift Spectrum is available across 21 regions globally: US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon, N. California), Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US West), Canada (Central), South America (Sao Paulo), Middle East (Bahrain), EU (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, Stockholm), Asia Pacific (Hongkong, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD and China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet.
