Amazon S3 Replication now provides detailed metrics and notifications to monitor the status of object replication between buckets. You can monitor replication progress by tracking bytes pending, operations pending, and replication latency between your source and destination buckets using the S3 management console or Amazon CloudWatch. You can also set up S3 Event Notifications to receive replication failure notifications to quickly diagnose and correct configuration issues. S3 Replication metrics and notifications helps you closely monitor replication progress.
With S3 Replication metrics and notifications, you can track per destination level metrics when replicating to the same Amazon Web Services China China Region or across different Amazon Web Services China China Regions. You can use Amazon SNS, Amazon SQS or Amazon Lamdba to set up S3 failure event notifications and identify misconfigurations or permission issues in replication rules as soon as they occur. When creating a replication rule, you will have an option to enable S3 Replication metrics and notifications for each replication rule. You can use the S3 Management Console, SDK, API, or Amazon CloudFormation to enable S3 Replication metrics and notifications.
S3 Replication metrics and notifications are available in all Amazon Web Services China Regions, including the Amazon Web Services China China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and the Amazon Web Services China China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
