You can now run your applications on the Amazon Elastic Beanstalk using the new generation of Docker, Corretto and Python Elastic Beanstalk platforms built on top of Operating System, Amazon Linux 2.
The new generation of Node.js on Amazon Linux 2 platform offers separate platform branch for each major version of Node.js and supports procfile. The new generation of PHP on Amazon Linux 2 platform comes with Nginx as default webserver and uses Fast CGI Process Manager to run your PHP application. The new generation of Ruby on Amazon Linux 2 platform enables you to specify your choice of server in Gemfile and comes with Puma as default application server.
To get started, create a new Amazon Elastic Beanstalk environment using the Elastic Beanstalk console or through the EB CLI and Elastic Beanstalk API.
