Amazon Step Functions is now integrated with Amazon CodeBuild, making it faster to build continuous integration workflows for your applications. Using Amazon CodeBuild integration, you can easily create workflows with primitives such as branching, parallel execution, and timeouts to handle software changes from different repository branches. Amazon Step Functions supports built-in error handling, parameter passing, recommended security settings, and state management, reducing the amount of code you have to write and maintain.
Amazon Step Functions allows you to build resilient workflows using Amazon Web Services services such as Amazon Fargate, Amazon Simple Notification Service, Amazon Lambda, and now Amazon CodeBuild. Amazon CodeBuild is a fully managed build service that compiles source code, runs tests and produces software packages. Using the Amazon CodeBuild service integration, you can incorporate test results into report aggregation systems and send notifications in the same workflow.
