Amazon Web Services has updated the console for Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS). The update provides user interface improvements and support for five new languages – German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese – increasing the number of languages supported by the Amazon SNS console to ten.
The updated user interface is optimized for screens of all sizes making configuration, management, and monitoring more accessible on a variety of devices. The new help panel shows contextual documentation in the console. Actions such as opting for encrypted topics and assignment of subscription filter policies are now supported at the topic and subscription creation stage in the new console.
Amazon SNS is a fully managed pub/sub messaging service. You can use Amazon SNS topics to decouple message producers and consumers, and simultaneously distribute messages to multiple subscribing endpoints, such as Amazon SQS queues, Amazon Lambda functions, HTTP endpoints, email addresses, and mobile devices (SMS, push notifications).
The updated console is now available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. To experience the new user interface and language support, visit the Amazon SNS Console.
