Today, Amazon Backup announced its enhanced resource assignment capabilities. Using these new capabilities, customers can now schedule backups that span all their Amazon Web Services supported resources or specific Amazon Web Services resource types. Customers can also narrow down their data protection to resources that are assigned to a particular tag, linked to a combination of tags, or can be identified by a partial tag value. Additionally, customers can exclude resources from their data protection by Amazon Web Services resource type, tag, or specific resource ID.
This enhancement is available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet, and in the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD. Amazon Backup enables customers to centralize and automate data protection across Amazon Web Services services through a fully managed and cost-effective solution.
