We are pleased to announce the general availability of Amazon Compute Optimizer, a machine learning-based recommendation service that makes it easy for you to ensure that you are using optimal Amazon Web Services resources, in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
Over-provisioning resources can lead to unnecessary infrastructure cost, and under-provisioning can lead to poor application performance. Compute Optimizer delivers intuitive and easily actionable Amazon EC2 instance, Amazon EBS volume, and Amazon Lambda function recommendations so that you can identify optimal Amazon Web Services resources for your workloads, without requiring specialized knowledge or investing substantial time and money.
You can access Amazon Compute Optimizer through the Amazon Web Services Management Console, Amazon CLI, or Amazon SDK. You can also access Compute Optimizer recommendations for Amazon EC2 instances via Cost Explorer Rightsizing Recommendations.
