Effective Feb 1st, 2021, Amazon SQS provides tiered pricing for monthly API requests in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. Tiered pricing will provide discounts based on your monthly usage of Amazon SQS. Amazon SQS is a fully managed message queuing service that enables you to decouple and scale microservices, distributed systems, and serverless applications. Using SQS, you can send, store, and receive messages between software components at any volume, without losing messages or requiring other services to be available.
With the new tiered pricing for Amazon SQS, you will be charged a tiered price on the number of monthly requests you make to SQS. The tiered pricing will allow you to use SQS at scale with an API request price as low as ¥2.99 per million requests in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and ¥2.58 in Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region for standard queues. Similarly, you can use FIFO queues as low as ¥3.74 per million requests in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and ¥3.49 in Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region. This offers you the ability to save as your usage scales in contrast to the previous pricing model, which charged a flat price for API requests.
