Amazon Systems Manager now lets you easily search for runbooks and other Systems Manager documents, such as Run Command and Distributor packages, by specifying a part of the name as the search keyword. This feature enables easy discovery of runbooks when you have a large number of runbooks in your account or when you do not remember the exact name of a runbook.
An Amazon Systems Manager runbook or document defines the actions that Systems Manager performs on your managed instances. With this feature, you can find runbooks and other Systems Manager documents by providing a partial, case insensitive text as the keyword. The new search experience is enabled in several Systems Manager capabilities: Run Command, Automation, Distributor, and Documents.
This feature is available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. For more information on Amazon Systems Manager, visit our Product Page and Documentation.
