We are excited to announce that Amazon IoT Device Management Fleet Indexing now supports up to twelve query terms. Amazon IoT Device Management is a fully managed service that helps you search, organize, monitor, and remotely manage IoT devices at scale.
Fleet indexing’s search and aggregation queries, including fleet metrics will now support up to twelve query terms, up from the prior limit of seven terms. These queries enable multiple use cases, such as helping customers capture fleet level insights, define and monitor alarms on specific attributes, and filter on a subset of devices for easier troubleshooting activities. With this update, customers can enrich their fleet management capability and perform even more granular tasks through additional filters and query terms.
This update is available in both regions where IoT Device Management is available - Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. Customers can run search and aggregation queries directly via APIs, and also from Console or Fleet Hub. For more information, refer to Amazon IoT Device Management documentation.
