Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) now enables you to create environments in a shared, centrally-managed Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). VPC sharing allows teams, each with their Amazon Web Services accounts, to create resources into a centrally-managed VPC. This reduces the number of VPCs that you need to create and manage, while using separate accounts for billing and access control.
Amazon MWAA is a managed orchestration service for Apache Airflow that makes it easier to set up and operate end-to-end data pipelines in the cloud. Shared VPC support for Amazon MWAA adds the ability for customers to opt-in to manage their own endpoints within their VPCs, adding compatibility to shared, or otherwise restricted, VPCs. Specifying customer-managed endpoints also provides the ability to meet strict security policies by explicitly restricting VPC resource access to just those needed by their MWAA environments.
You can launch a new Amazon MWAA environment with just a few clicks in the Amazon Web Services Management Console in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, Operated by Sinnet, and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, Operated by NWCD.
