Today, Amazon Neptune adds support for Slow Query Logs to help identify queries that need performance tuning. You can now identify slow-running queries and log runtime details for these queries’ key performance indicators such as query execution time, and response codes to Amazon CloudWatch Logs.
Amazon Neptune is a fast, reliable, fully managed graph database service that makes it easy to build and run applications that work with highly connected datasets. Neptune customers run millions of queries every day to find connections in their data and may have applications that generate queries dynamically in response to user interactions. In such cases, customers have told us they would benefit from increased transparency into query performance for specific use cases, like queries which may be taking longer than expected. Amazon Neptune's Slow Query Logs will help you identify these queries and get information on how the queries are executed.
Support for Slow Query Logs is available on Neptune engine version 1.2.1.0 or higher in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD. There are no additional charges for using Slow Query Logs besides standard usage charges for Amazon Neptune. For more information on Neptune Slow Query Logs, visit our documentation.
