Amazon Backup announces support for Amazon Neptune and Amazon DocumentDB, making it easier for you to centrally automate backup and restore of your application data stored in Amazon Neptune and Amazon DocumentDB along with other Amazon Web Services services for compute, storage, and database.
Amazon Neptune is a fast, reliable, fully managed graph database service that makes it easy to build and run applications. Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a scalable, highly durable, and fully-managed database service for operating mission critical MongoDB workloads. You can now use a single data protection policy in Amazon Backup to automate the creation of independent, immutable, and protected snapshots of your Neptune or DocumentDB clusters across Amazon Web Services Regions or accounts, and you can restore your Neptune or DocumentDB clusters from the snapshots with a single click.
Amazon Backup support for Amazon Neptune and Amazon DocumentDB are available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
