Amazon RDS for SQL Server now supports password policies for SQL Server logins in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
If you use SQL Server logins to authenticate users to an RDS for SQL Server database instance, you can now apply password policies to meet your compliance requirements. You can configure password policy parameters such as minimum length, minimum age, maximum age, lockout threshold, lockout duration, and lockout reset counter.
