We announce support for Amazon Redshift Serverless in Amazon Backup, making it easier for you to centrally manage data protection of your Amazon Redshift Serverless data warehouse. You can now use Amazon Backup to automate backup and restore of both Amazon Redshift Serverless and Amazon Redshift provisioned cluster snapshots, along with other Amazon Web Services services for compute, storage, and database.
To get started with Amazon Backup for Amazon Redshift Serverless, you can use the Amazon Backup Management console, API, or CLI to create backup policies. You assign Amazon Redshift Serverless resources to the policies, and Amazon Backup automates the creation of backups of Amazon Redshift Serverless namespaces. You can restore Amazon Redshift Serverless namespace or individual Amazon Redshift tables from your backup vault with a few clicks or with a single API call.
Amazon Backup support for Amazon Redshift Serverless is available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
