Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) for SQL Server now supports new minor versions for SQL Server 2019 (CU32 - 15.0.4430.1) and SQL Server 2022 (CU18 - 16.0.4185.3) in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. These minor versions include performance improvements and bug fixes, and are available for SQL Server Express, Web, Standard, and Enterprise editions. Review the Microsoft release notes for CU32 and CU18 for details.
We recommend that you upgrade to the latest minor versions to benefit from the performance improvements and bug fixes.
